Parking Around the Station
The City of Summit has numerous parking garages and ample parking for resident commuters and downtown employees. This is important, as there are other towns that don’t offer ample parking around the station, which makes it much more difficult to commute by train every day, as you’d potentially need to be dropped off and picked up from the train each day. At Summit, you drive in, park, and then after a hard day’s work, you easily grab your car and drive home from the train station. The logistics are much easier because of the parking. The entire downtown Summit is set up incredibly well to be convenient for residents, with the ability to walk everywhere. It’s very similar to Brooklyn in that regard!
