The Westfield Recreation Commission manages the following park facilities. Please view our aerial footage of the parks:
Brightwood Park
A 44 acre park on Prospect Street featuring a pond with dam, picnic areas and nature trails.
Clark Park
A 9.5 acre park on Clark Street featuring memorial trees and gardens, jogging path and gazebo.
Gumbert Park
An 8.3 acre park on South Chestnut Street featuring 4 Basketball Courts, 3 Little League baseball fields, a jogging path and playground area.
Houlihan/Sid Fay Fields
4 acres of lighted all purpose synthetic turf fields on Rahway Avenue.
Memorial Park
A 19.1 acre park/pool complex on Scotch Plains Avenue featuring 4 Softball Fields, 2 Basketball Courts, Soccer Fields, Handball Courts, Tennis Courts a Municipal Pool and play areas.
Mindowaskin Park
A 12.6 acre park on East Broad Street featuring play area, Bandstand, Memorial Trees and gardens.
The Friends of Mindowaskin Park is a non-profit organization founded in the early 1990’s to revitalize the park. Visit their web site atwww.mindowaskinpark.org.
Sycamore Field
A 1.5 acre park on Sycamore Street featuring a soccer/all purpose playing field and play area.
Tamaques Park
A 106 acre park on Lamberts Mill Road featuring 18 picnic areas, 2 Basketball Courts, 8 Tennis Courts, Shuffleboard Courts, 6 playing fields, 2 playground areas, pond, ice skating, a .8 mile jogging path, 2 Handball Courts and two service buildings with restrooms.
Windsor Park
A One acre park on Windsor Avenue featuring Basketball Courts and a playground area.
