Arlene’s Story:
Arlene began her career in business at Bankers Trust Company in 1978, after graduating from Vassar College in 3 years. While working at Merrill Lynch, Arlene decided to leave finance to become a real estate agent. In 1985 Arlene began her career in real estate. She spent fifteen years, working for Distinctive Properties and then Prudential Properties, learning and mastering the Short Hills, Millburn market. In 2000 Arlene moved to Weichert Realtors where she started The Gonnella Team. Since 2000, Arlene and The Gonnella Team have produced over 1 billion dollars worth of real estate transactions in 13 years.
Despite her tremendous success in real estate, Arlene is most proud of her work as a mother of five children. Arlene raised all five children in Short Hills and sent all five children to Millburn public schools. Whether it is selling your home of 20 years or buying your first home, Arlene will be there to guide you through every step of the process. She is incredibly patient and gives advice that is tremendously helpful! Arlene believes in giving back to the community. She supports the Papermill Playhouse, Valerie Fund, Millburn Film Festival, St. Barnabas Hospital, AJC- Global Jewish Advocacy, and Robin Hood Foundation. She is passionate about the Avon Walk and has walked 39 miles in Santa Barbara, San Francisco, and will walk 39 miles in Chicago this year to help find a cure for breast cancer!
